Das Landgut liegt nahe einer verkehrsarmen Nebenstrasse.
Entfernungen: Portole mit Lebensmittelgeschäft und einem Restaurant liegt 500 m entfernt, Cortona mit mehrere Geschäften 9 Km, der Trasimeno See ca. 20 Km, Città di Castello ca. 30 Km, Arezzo ca. 35 Km.
Zur Verfügung der Gäste: privater, ausgestatteter Außenbereich für jede Ferienwohnung. Privates Schwimmbad für Portole 1 ( 10 x 5 m- Hoechsttiefe 2,45 m – geöffnet von 01/05 bis 30/09) und für Portole 2 ( 8 x 4 m- Hoechsttiefe 1,40 m – geöffnet von 01/05 bis 30/09) Barbecue, Kinderspiele. Parkplatz beim Haus. Jede Wohnung ist mit Waschmaschine und Klimaanlage versehen.

We rented the two houses with friends; the two are nicely located, close to the road but there is almost no traffic and the garden/swimming pool area is quite well protected so children are safe. The house is charming, nicely decorated, quite big and comfortable. And the owners are charming and very friendly!
This extremely beautiful and unique property is about as close to heaven as you can get in Tuscany. Literally. It, and a companion house, are on a mountaintop about five miles from the stunning walled city of Cortona. You will never have a better view from a swimming pool! The owners are lovely people. In this small town is a wonderful restaurant, the Albergo, with a very accommodating owner, and an amazing rosemary steak dish, among other delights. If you want to be in the center of things, don't come here. Excellent, for us, means well away from the hub-bub, but close enough to Cortona for a short drive. Otherwise, you'll find this comfortable, modern home unforgettable. Better than described. The furnishings were modern. The fireplace was perfect. And you can't picture the swimming pool setting until you're actually there

We had a lovely stay at the villa in Portole. It was just a short drive up the mountain from Cortona. The view was beautiful. The home was very comfortable and the owner was super nice and accomodating. She greeted us with cookies and a bottle of her own wine. We managed to communicate despite the language barrier. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Portole 2 is a lovely villa. beautifully decorated and maintained with everything you can ask for. The views from the property are spectacular and it is very remote. The pool is lovely but a bit of a climb up about 50 steps but its worth it for the view at the top. We were greeted at the villa with cakes and later on in the week we were given eggs, tomatoes and wine as a gift from the owner. A very peaceful getaway which is only a short, if very windy drive from Cortona. A car is essential here!! A lovely property in a superb location. Spotlessly clean too!!
Proprietà spettacolare!Pace,tranquillità e massima libertà di movimento. Piscina spettacolare e pulita tutte le mattine dal proprietario che si guarda bene dal disturbare. Insomma il posto ideale per chi si vuole riposare. Un servizio da 10 e lode,dal personale di Posarellivillas, al proprietario di Portole. Incredibile pensare che un servizio così sia in Italia!!!Complimenti!
