Nur 50 m entfernt liegt ein ganz umstrukturierter Heuschober. Ruhige, beherrschende Lage, südlich von Siena am Rand der bekannten Crete Senesi.
Das 400 Hektaren große Landgut bietet Wein- und Olivenölproduktion.
Herrlicher Blick auf das Orciatal und die Stadt Siena.
Gemütliche Einrichtung in rustikalem Stil. Den Gästen steht eine stimmungsvolle, teilweise überdachte Terrasse (110 Quadratsmeter) mit wunderschönem Panoramablick. Das Haus ist für kleine Gruppen geeignet und bietet einen großen Saal mit gemeinschaftlicher Küche.
Die 3 Km lange Zufahrtstrasse ist unasphaltiert, aber in gutem Zustand.

We had a wonderful stay at San Donnino. One of the best parts about it was the owner. He speaks excellent English and is very happy to provide information about life in Tuscany. Often when travelling you can feel that you don't understand what makes a place "tick" but being able to talk to the owner over a glass of wine gave us a great insight into this area of Italy.
The property itself was very clean and spacious and the grounds and pool lovely and well cared for. The location is close to Siena and does require you to hop in the car anytime you want to go out.
The property's house wine was great and very inexpensive.
The only negative was that the apartment was supposed to have wifi but in reality, the only way you could get wifi was to either sit in the toilet which was the closest place to the router or to sit in the little alcove outside of where the main computer is situated. Given that my husband had to work whilst we were away, this was a bit of an inconvenience. |

Every year we spend a week in Tuscany, but this year our stay there was the most pleasant. The owners of San Donnino are very nice and professional, we have our privacy, nevertheless we know the owners can be reached at any time in case of our need. oue flat, the whole villa and its surroundings, the pool... were really beautiful. We really had a wonderful time and are sure to come back again.

Our family of 5 adults loved everything about San Donnino! The owner was truly interested in our comfort and satisfaction. The property was located in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany, and Siena was only a 20 minute ride away. The pool area was beautiful, and there were several good osteria nearby. We will stay there again.
